Among the most popular excursions are visits to the fortified city of Alghero, known for its Catalan old town and coral workshops, and boat tours to the Neptune’s Caves, which can also be reached by sea.

Don’t miss the excursion to the picturesque Asinara Island, with its unspoiled beaches, wild landscapes, iconic white donkeys, and numerous former prison buildings scattered throughout the area. These now-abandoned structures once made the island famous for its “notorious” inmates just a few decades ago.

Other easily accessible destinations include:

Diving, Snorkeling and Surf School: The Sea Is Calling

Sea lovers can dive into the protected seabeds of the Capo Caccia Marine Protected Area thanks to diving and snorkeling courses and guided excursions. You can also ride the waves at the surf school. All of this is possible thanks to long-standing partnerships with the area's top diving centers and the expert guides of Centro Archimete, whose instructors also offer free trial dives in the pools of our holiday village-campsite.

Expert guides will lead divers on an unforgettable journey through the underwater wonders of Capo Caccia, one of the most spectacular diving sites in the Mediterranean.
Here lies the famous Nereo Cave, the largest submerged marine cave in Europe, known for its red coral-covered walls. Nearby, you can also explore Punta Salinetto Caves, the fascinating Cerianthus Cave — home to colorful groupers — and the scenic Belvedere Cave, located near the spectacular Isola Foradada, famous for its massive natural opening.

Heading toward Punta Giglio, more wonders await: Falco Cave, with its flaming red coral walls, and Cervi Cave, a unique site where ancient fossilized remains of Sardinian deer have been found embedded in limestone.

For those who love the sea, waves, and wind, Torre del Porticciolo also offers exciting surf courses on the beautiful Porto Ferro Beach, just a few minutes from the village.
